STEELERS face off their league campaign tonight against a second-choice goalie.
Opponents Edinburgh Capitals say they have "suffered a devastating blow" as a courier company has failed to deliver netminder Michel Robinson's visa. As a result of this he was unable to fly in from north America, says Caps.
The paper work was stuck in Stanstead airport and corss-Atlantic flight ticket was wasted.
Backup netminder Mark McGill will make his Elite Ice Hockey League debut tonight at Shefield.
Coach Doug Christiansen commented, "I am so disappointed that this has happened after a hectic but productive week. McGill has been training very hard throughout the summer and is looking forward to this opportunity to take the starting netminder role. I am excited for him and know that he is relishing the challenge."
