It's another busy time for Lee Richardson's in-form Spireites.
Three games in eight days start with Accrington Stanley at Saltergate tomorrow as Chesterfield look to extend their six-match unbeaten streak.
That run looked under threat last Friday when Shrewsbury Town led 2-0 at Saltergate.
But a goal from sub Darren Currie and a penalty from Jamie Ward, his tenth goal in ten games, earned a point.
It could so easily have been more but for a last-gasp fingertip save by the Shrews keeper to deny Jack Lester.
The manager has a full squad to chose from. Ben Algar (dead leg) played in the reserves 0-0 draw at Aston Villa in midweek, and, with no injuries picked up last week, it's an enviable position.
The main selection dilemma for Richardson surrounds Darren Currie.
The left-sider has been relegated to the bench in recent weeks but in his last two appearances as a sub, he's scored.
Against Shrewsbury his appearance changed the face of the game and his goal shot his side back into the game after they seemed to be dead and buried.
Kevin Austin could give way, with Alan Goodall reverting to left back from left midfield to accommodate the mercurial talent of Currie, a talent seen far too infrequently at the club he joined from Luton Town in the summer.
Stanley, who beat Bourne-mouth 3-0 last Saturday, are also in decent nick, avoiding defeat in their last four games in League Two, though they were knocked out of the cup at Tranmere in a replay during that run.
Richardson names six-goal target man Paul Mullin as the Accrington danger man.
Defender Robbie Williams (knee) is a fresh injury worry for John Coleman's side. He joins Ian Dunbavin, Peter Cavanagh and Peter Murphy on the missing list.
A year ago a 2-1 defeat at Stanley was arguably the lowest point of Chesterfield's season.
But in the equivalent fixture at Saltergate, in March, Chesterfield ran out comfortable 4-2 victors.
