Doncaster RLFC will be looking to check their slide down the League One table when they entertain London Skolars at the Keepmoat Stadium tomorrow (3pm).

The Dons have lost their last two league games and dropped to seventh in the standings.

But head coach Gary Thornton is hoping that the Dons can pick up from where they left off in the second half of their Challenge Cup defeat at Headingley a fortnight ago when they ran in five tries against Super League giants Leeds Rhinos.

“Not many Super League sides score six tries against Rhinos at Headingley let alone a League One side so we’ve got to take a lot of confidence from the game,” said Thornton.

“The team spirit was there for all to see and the lads have been really buzzing in training over the last fortnight and they are really looking forward to Sunday’s game.

“I’m hoping we can get back on track and kick on from here.
