Stretton Road protest: Sheffield residents block street near busy Ecclesall Road in row over speeding drivers

A group of residents blocked Stretton Road on the morning of Friday, February 11, preventing cars from driving down the street, although they let residents pass.

The protest, which lasted from 7.30am to 10am on a chilly morning was designed to bring attention to the problems of speeding on the road, as well as problems with residents’ parking.
