Two men rushed to hospital after being shot in Sheffield escaped serious injuries.

Emergency services flooded Cowley Gardens in Westfield at around 11.20pm on Monday following reports two people had been injured.

Two men, aged 25 and 26, were found with suspected gunshot injuries and taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
