Popular ice cream brand Magnum has issued a product recall for one of its ice cream tubs, due to undeclared ingredients and incorrect packaging

This is everything you need to know about the product recall, from how to know if you’ve been affected to what to do if you have a recalled product.

What’s being recalled?

Magnum has decided to take the precautionary measure of recalling a limited number of its products due to allergy fears.

The recall affects 440ml Magnum white ice cream tubs with the following batch codes:

- L9255AT138

- L9255BT138

They also have a best before date of September 2021.

The best before date and batch codes can be found on the rim of the lid.

Why are they being recalled?

The tubs are being recalled due to the fact the product has been incorrectly labelled with the Italian version of the back label, instead of the English version, therefore not clearly indicating the presence of milk in the product.

This could be harmful for those who are lactose intolerant or have a milk allergy.
