Pedestrian hit by lorry named

A BARNSLEY pedestrian hit by a lorry has died from his injuries 11 days after the collision.
Police investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident want to hear from anyone who can shed some light on exactly what happened. Michael Wells, aged 60, was struck by a passing DAF lorry on the A637 Huddersfield Road, near to the junction with Kensington Road, Barnsley.

He was hit at around 10.50am on July 11 and taken to the town's District General Hospital with serious leg injuries, where he died on Tuesday.
