Man injured in city centre attack

PART of a Sheffield city centre street was sealed off this morning after a man was taken to hospital with a head injury following an assault.
The 25-year-old was taken to the Northern General Hospital for treatment after the reported attack at around 1am today on Hawley Street.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and forensic experts were due at the scene this morning where police tape had been erected outside a door and around a Vauxhall Astra car.
