A SHEFFIELD firm that specialises in software for the hospitality industry has gained the international ISO 14001 standard for Environmental Management.
Ecclesall Road-based Fretwell-Downing Hospitality secured the standard after implementing procedures to minimise waste, promote recycling and cut energy consumption.

Managing director Charles Mobbs said: "Our customers, particularly within the pub
lic sector are increasingly wanting to work with suppliers who can demonstrate not only best practice, but the highest standard of environmental management. "

FDH specialises in developing management information and nutritional analysis systems and is a leading supplier to the local authority, retail, healthcare, armed services and contract catering sectors.
