A CHESTERFIELD firm, which has been one of the UK's fastest-growing companies, is targeting further expansion with backing from NatWest Commercial Banking and RBS Invoice Finance.
Public Sector Consultants was launched by chief executive Stephen Prince in 2000 to provide interim management and consultancy services to local government finance departments.

Since then, the company has expanded to provide services for the NHS a
nd been named one of the 100 fastest growing companies in the UK.

The company has worked with nearly 50 per cent of the local authorities in England and Wales and 65 NHS organisations and is now heading towards a turnover of £8 million a year.

Stephen Prince said: "We are an ambitious company and to enable us to maintain our success and the growth levels experienced to date, we needed to have a supportive bank.
